     There are 2 signatures representing the board of directors in this series. The signature on the left represents the Chief Executive Officer of Banco Nacional Ultramarino while the signature on the right represents the Executive Director of Caixa Geral de Depósitos at its time of issuance. However, the 20 patacas was the only banknote in this series that did not bear the signature of the Executive Director of Caixa Geral de Depósitos. Instead, it bears the signature of António Luís Neto who is a member of the Board of Directors of Banco Nacional Ultramarino.

     Here is a Portuguese currency that was issued in Macau as a special territory of Portugal on the 8th of July 1991. The coat of arms of Portugal was replaced with BNU's logo in this new series of banknote. It bears the signature of João António Morais da Costa Pinto (Governor) and Abílio do Nascimento Martins Dengucho (Director-General of the Macau Branch). Printed by Thomas De La Rue & Co., Ltd.      Here is a currency that was issued by Standard Chartered Bank on the 1st of January 1992 for Hong Kong. Note that the coat of arms of the British Government is featured on the reverse which signifies that Hong Kong is under British administration as a dependent territory. It bears the signature of an unknown Chief Financial Officer and an unknown Area General Manager. Printed by De La Rue Tai Po, Hong Kong by order of the Court of Directors.

     Here is a Portuguese currency that was issued in Macau as a special territory of Portugal on the 13th of July 1992. Lion dance are almost synonymous with Chinese New Year. Banco Nacional Ultramarino was one of the few early note-issuing banks to issue banknotes showcasing the Chinese New Year. It bears the signature of João António Morais da Costa Pinto (Governor) and Abílio do Nascimento Martins Dengucho (Director-General of the Macau Branch).      Here is a Portuguese currency that was issued in Lisbon dated 18th of November 1976 for their overseas province of Macau. It bears the signature of Alberto Alves de Oliveira Pinto (President) and Rui Carvalho Fortes da Gama (I) under the management board.
