OBV: Portuguese Macau 50 Patacas 1992
Here is a series of low denomination Portuguese currency with first prefix that was issued in Macau as a special territory of Portugal by Banco Nacional Ultramarino. Banknotes with first prefix are highly collectible. Here is the paper currency which a person is most likely to encounter if they were visiting Macau during the 1990s.
I am also a Macau banknote collector~ nice to meet someone who like Macau banknote too~
ReplyDeletehmmm........is that means more competions? :-)
ReplyDeletehmmm.... yes~ because Macau banknote is difficult to collect, you need to hurry up ^_^
ReplyDeleteWell Wilson-kor, you better upload more images here them. Well, I am missing one recent 500 Patacas P79 and I don't think I can afford to buy one. The 2012 BoC commemorative is like gold and that 10 Patacas Dragon notes are still hot cakes.... Everyone thinks that they are sitting on a gold mine!!
ReplyDeleteFinally managed to get hold of the BoC Macau 100 Patacas 2012 commemorative with MO and BOC prefixes. With 3 millions pieces printed and only 1.0M+ pieces released, I am wondering what the 3rd (4th/replacement) prefix is? Anyone have the info, please do share.
ReplyDeletethere is also AA prefix, but many was cut from those uncut banknotes(30 pieces)
