Portuguese Macau 20 Patacas 1996

     Here is a Portuguese currency that was issued in Macau as a special territory of Portugal on the 1st of September 1996. Banknote of 20 patacas was first introduced in 1996. It bears the signature of António José Sacadura Vieira Monteiro (Administrator) and Alberto Manuel Sarmento Azevedo Soares (Director-General of the Macau Branch). Printed by Imprensa Nacional-Casa da Moeda and authorised by Decree-Law No. 8/96/M, February 5th.
